1. Introduction

Welcome to Sacred Raven Tattoo. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and website. By booking an appointment, using our services, or accessing our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

2. Age Restrictions

Sacred Raven Tattoo strictly adheres to North Carolina state law regarding age restrictions for tattoos and piercings:

  • Tattoos: We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent.
  • Piercings: Clients under 18 may receive certain piercings with written parental consent and the presence of a parent or legal guardian during the procedure.

We reserve the right to request valid government-issued photo identification to verify age.

3. Booking and Deposits

3.1 Appointment Booking

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your tattoo appointment.
  • The deposit amount will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo.
  • Walk-in appointments may be available subject to artist availability.

3.2 Deposit Policy

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Deposits will be forfeited in the following circumstances:
    • No-show for your appointment
    • Cancellation with less than 72 hours notice
    • Arriving more than 30 minutes late for your appointment
    • Arriving intoxicated or otherwise unable to be tattooed
    • Requesting significant last-minute changes to the agreed design

3.3 Rescheduling

  • You must provide at least 72 hours notice to reschedule your appointment without losing your deposit6.
  • Rescheduling more than twice may result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

4. Health and Safety

4.1 Client Responsibilities

  • You must complete a health questionnaire and consent form before any procedure.
  • You are required to disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, and medications.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service based on health concerns or if we believe the procedure may be unsafe for you.

4.2 Intoxication

  • We will not perform any procedures on clients who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • If you arrive intoxicated, you will be asked to leave and will forfeit your deposit.

4.3 Hygiene and Sterility

  • Our studio adheres to all local and state health regulations.
  • We use single-use needles and sterilized equipment for all procedures.
  • Clients are expected to maintain personal hygiene for their appointment.

5. Services and Pricing

5.1 Tattoo Pricing

  • Our minimum charge covers the cost of setup, sterilization, and basic supplies.
  • Larger or more complex tattoos will be priced based on size, detail, and estimated time.
  • Final pricing may vary based on the actual time taken and any adjustments made during the session.

5.2 Piercing Pricing

  • Piercing prices include basic jewelry unless otherwise specified.
  • Upgrade options for jewelry may be available at additional cost.

5.3 Payment

  • Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the service.
  • We accept cash and major credit cards. Personal checks are not accepted.

6. Aftercare and Touch-ups

6.1 Aftercare Instructions

  • Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided following your procedure.
  • Failure to follow these instructions may result in complications and void any touch-up policy.

6.2 Touch-up Policy

  • Free touch-ups are offered within 6 months of the original tattoo, provided aftercare instructions were followed.
  • Touch-ups for tattoos on non-guaranteed body parts (e.g., hands, feet) may incur a charge.
  • Touch-ups must be performed by the original artist unless otherwise arranged.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Custom Designs

  • All custom designs created by our artists remain the intellectual property of Sacred Raven Tattoo and the respective artist.
  • Clients may not reproduce or use custom designs for any purpose other than their personal tattoo without written permission.

7.2 Photography

  • We reserve the right to photograph completed tattoos for our portfolio and promotional use.
  • If you do not wish your tattoo to be photographed or shared, please inform your artist.

8. Studio Policies

8.1 Guest Policy

  • One guest per client is allowed in the tattooing area.
  • Guests must be at least 18 years old.
  • We reserve the right to ask disruptive guests to leave.

8.2 Children and Minors

  • No children or minors under 18 are allowed in the tattooing area at any time.
  • Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when in the studio.

8.3 Personal Property

  • Sacred Raven Tattoo is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
  • Please keep valuable items with you or leave them at home.

9. Cancellation by Sacred Raven Tattoo

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances such as artist illness or emergency. In such cases, we will make every effort to notify you promptly and reschedule your appointment or refund your deposit if rescheduling is not possible.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Sacred Raven Tattoo provides services “as is” without any express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee specific results from our services.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sacred Raven Tattoo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.

13. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Sacred Raven Tattoo reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or in our studio.
